Jodie Dolan TLTLA.jpg

jodie dolan | Founder, Director, Board Member

Known for her elevated casual fashion label DOLAN, Jodie Dolan brought a deeper meaning to her brand’s purpose through the establishment of The Laundry Truck LA. As Executive Director, she touches every detail of TLTLA, from fundraising and outreach to waterlines and generators. Getting to learn from and partner with local service providers in the space has been an added bonus.

Jodie first came to the idea for The Laundry Truck LA in 2017 through her volunteer work with Monday Night Mission and Shower of Hope. “Seeing people have a beautiful and sometimes transformative shower experience, only to put their dirty clothes back on, gave me an ‘A-ha’ moment. Combining that need with our passion for clothing, I knew exactly how we could make a difference.”

Jodie founded her eponymous brand in 2004. It has graced the racks of retailers worldwide such as Anthropologie, Barney’s, Nordstrom, and Saks Fifth Avenue.

Pastor Miguel Albanez was introduced to us in 2019 and became a game-changing team member from the moment he arrived. He oversees every single service day for TLTLA, and does it all with consistency, efficiency, and a kind heart. With his warm and friendly spirit, he welcomes and every guest with open arms.

Pastor Miguel is a family man and an avid reader. He enjoys telling jokes, taking in a good movie, and traveling. He is also one of the kindest people you will ever meet! He considers serving the community in every way he can as one of his life’s purposes and sees helping those experiencing homelessness as way to fulfill that purpose.

Juan Alvarado |

Daily Onsite Operator

Juan Alvarado joined The Laundry Truck LA in 2019. He was one of our regular volunteers at our very first location, La Sagrada Familia in Huntington Park, where he still serves the community every Thursday. Juan quickly became such an important part of the daily operations that we sought his help at all locations.

The Laundry Truck LA holds a very special meaning for Juan. “Homeless issues are important to me because I was one of them. I have been in their shoes.” We are thankful for Juan’s perspective and his commitment to helping others.

In his free time, Juan enjoys soccer and weightlifting.

Christine has always felt a strong desire to give back and the homelessness crisis is particularly near and dear to her heart. “Purposeful work has been the most powerful gain in my professional life. Being able to connect my career to my passion for charitable work makes me feel like I’m in the right place.”

Christine joined DOLAN in 2015 with a broad retail background ranging from buying to ecommerce entrepreneurship.

Angelica Naccarati TLTLA.jpg

ANGELICA NACCARATI | administrator

Angelica Naccarati came to us in 2019 (like a gift from the universe) as our official TLTLA Administrator. She oversees operations to make sure everything is running smoothly, writes grant proposals, and communicates daily with our amazing community of patrons, service providers, volunteers, and general well-wishers. Her hard work and enthusiasm have been integral to our expansion from 2 days a week to 7 days a week in the first year.

Angelica has been known to work all night long on a project or grant, even if it means dialing in from faraway locations! If there is a question, she knows the answer.

Angelica considers it “a privilege and an honor to make a difference in the lives of people who are often invisible in our society.” It is also a privilege and an honor to have her onboard!

KATE ANLYAN.jpg

kate anlyan | Board Member

As a founding member of The Laundry Truck LA, Kate spearheads branding and events, which means she isn’t in the mix every day, but when she is, it’s a party (literally).

“Philanthropy has always been important to me, but I was not always a boots-on-the-ground kind of gal. Being a part of The Laundry Truck LA has been a humbling & inspiring form of higher education that I never expected, but for which I am so grateful.”

Kate joined the DOLAN team in 2015 after more than a decade working with the product teams for major retailers like Anthropologie and Abercrombie & Fitch. An East Coast native, Kate fell in love with Los Angeles when her family relocated and is thrilled to give back to the city that welcomed her, one load of laundry at a time!
